Telecommunication Tower

Metallic telecommunications pylon located on the high ground in Celle Ligure (SV).
The truss is made up of angles, laminates and plates in Fe S 235 JR – S 275 JR – S 335JR.
The product was produced and assembled on site in 4 trunks of 5 mt each to allow transport and assembly.

The order was developed and engineered in collaboration with the customer’s technical department and then, thanks to 3D software, designed and developed in every detail.

In particular, the processing focused on the drilling of angles and plates, shaped to size, composing only non-welded joints but with connections with SB bolts.

The artifact was assembled on site in n. 4 trunks of 5 Mt each to allow transport and assembly on site. The focal point of the supply was the implementation, considering the relatively small site and the high difference in height, to allow the entry of vehicles and cranes.

For this reason, vehicles of various sizes and capacities were used to access the affected area where a self-propelled crane that would allow high performance in outreach height, positioned in the nearest plain, could operate up to the height of the lattice.

The self-propelled machine used, maneuvered by highly specialized personnel, required all its safety through various measures of “heels and thicknesses” that were able to compensate for the slope and stabilization of the crane.

After completing the assembly and checking the tightening of numerous bolts, we proceeded with a complete cycle of painting on site, (cleaning, primer / primer and finishing coat in RAL) with personnel who, through the use of climbing equipment, carried out the I work both from the inside and from the outside of the trellis.
